In early November, 2016 Apple debuted the latest generation MacBook Pro laptop along with new 27 inch 5K monitor as an external display to their product line, but it was LG UltraFine 5K rather than Apple 5K display.

Recently customers facing display disruption in their LG UltraFine 5K monitor near Wi-Fi router within 2 meters or nearly 6.5 feet. Peoples told sometimes it flickered or switched off sometimes its show black screen, but when router is far from 5K display problem automatically fixed.

LG Electronics has officially acknowledged a problem associated with its UltraFine 27 inch 5K display (model 27MD5K) that causes the panel to malfunction. The problem occurs if a network’s wireless access point is positioned behind the display within a distance of 2 feet. The company says the issue can be resolved simply by repositioning the router or display. LG apologizes for this inconvenience and is committed to delivering the best quality products possible so all LG UltraFine 27 inch 5K displays manufactured after February 2017.
